The scholarship is a money gift that students use to finance their higher education. Scholarships are ideal alternatives to student loans because they do not need to repay. Scholarships can be used to pay for education-related expenses, including tuition fees, books and other teaching materials. Some scholarships can also be used to pay for food, accommodation fee, laundry cost and daily expenses. There are many different scholarships to choose from. Merit Scholarships are usually awarded to students with high GPA or extensive community service records. Other scholarships may be assigned to people in certain groups, including women and minority students. Scholarships are also offered to students with economic needs. Support for African-American communities, several universities and universities, as well as non-profit organizations of some major employers and organizations specializing in scholarships for African-American and minority ethnic groups

Scholarships are awarded annually to high school graduates who have completed important volunteer activities in the local Jewish community beyond the requirements of high school graduates. The JSSA Education Scholarship Fund is awarded a scholarship based on economic needs and recipients are eligible to receive grants for up to two years. Applicant must be a high school graduate.
