Suspense is the sense of uncertainty or excitement while waiting for results and decisions. Edgar Allan Poe used suspense using details and exquisite details in his story "Red Death Mask". The story of Poe is about the attempt to get rid of the inevitable prince. He tried to shut itself out from "red death" and made a pretense not to end happily. The prince and all his guests died in or around the seventh apartment. Before the seventh room there are six color rooms symbolizing the stage of life, that is seven sins.
