People think that economic growth and consumption are unsustainable and harmful to the environment and people have negative impact on human health and development, but they are not worth pursuing in modern world society. The expanding society is not a sustainable society, it is not easy for the environment, and it does not contribute to the quality and health of human life.

Due to economic growth and changes in consumption patterns, worldwide plastic waste is rapidly increasing. According to the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) (2009), today's worldwide plastic consumption has increased from 5 million tons in the 1950s to 100 million tons. According to the Natural Resource Protection Council (NRDC) (2008), Americans use 100 billion vinyl shopping bags each year to process and generate large amounts of waste. - Supermarkets and shops provide millions of plastic bags to consumers to deliver goods. They are also cheap, lightweight, durable, portable, and often free. The most commonly used shopping bag is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE). This type is used in most supermarkets and shops. After using these bags, they are usually landfilled finally or stacked up as garbage and only about 3% of plastic bags are recycled annually (Planet Ark, 2011).

By carefully considering this question, honest people can see the bad results that alcohol can bring to those who become slaves. Even though some people do not want to admit that consumption of alcoholic beverages is immoral, we must admit that this is immoral.
