Ecological Systems Theory

In 1979, psychologist Urie Bronfenbrenner announced "ecology of human development" and detailed his theory called ecological theory in detail. Ecological theory, also known as the development of background theory or human ecological theory, specifies five different types of nested environmental systems: microsystems, intermediary systems, external systems, macro systems, and time systems . Each of these systems affects individuals, especially children.

Ecosystem theory, also known as background development or human ecology theory, identifies five environmental systems with which individuals interact. This theory provides a framework for community psychologists to study personal relationships in communities and broader societies. The ecological theory was developed by Urie Bronfenbrenner. This theory is often referred to as the ecological / system framework. Parents may receive promotions that require more travel, which increases the conflict with other parents and they may change how they interact with their children.
