Earth Abides

Please wake up and look around and imagine. When you are asleep, realize only that 90% of the world's population has disappeared. At the novel "Earth Living", George Stewart created this scene and made it a reality. This novel concentrates on the life of Ish, but Ish woke up and found that he is one of the few people on the planet. To survive and adapt, Ish is faced with the responsibility to reach out to other survivors of catastrophe. In doing so, Ish encountered several roles, and they together formed a tribe for a new lifestyle.

This book reminds me of the other two books that I read in the past 10 years or so, two of which are George R. Stewart of the Earth. On the other hand, I am reading it for the second time to remember it: the Earth of David Brin. This is a big book, but please read it soon. My favorite is Earths Abides. Some people have a clear role to gather themselves from a small number of survivors around the world, just as there is a key figure of men in The Road. Civilization slowly collapses, allowing more people to see how much they separate themselves from themselves and protect themselves from the world other than the nature electric machinery. This is wonderful. One tradeoff for me is that it appears in familiar areas, mainly in the hills of Berkeley, California. One of that image is still in my mind: use other useless copper pennies at the tip of the arrow

When Takei and I entered this street, we relaxed. There is no traffic. Ivy broke through a narrow asphalt belt. I remembered my daughter and the book that I read a few years ago, the earth lived, the plague wiped out most of the humans on Earth, and a few survivors (in the Bay Area , Quite a few!) It is a cruel way. The original one appeared. Let's go together. This is not a big deal. I hardly thought about it. I am bored even a little. But when it reaches the edge of River Road, everything will change. I have to get up more. The car exists and can appear anytime. The house is moving forward. The sidewalk is being cleaned. We belong to the public domain. Was observed. We should lose our delusions and actions
