Everyone's life will travel once, both physically and mentally. We all experience our own adversities, tears, pain, and obstacles. It may change your life and social view of life. Travel can be classified as distance, route, travel or suitable for traveling. Peter Skrzynecki's "Leaving Home" poetry and Brian Patten's "Geography Course" all contain various techniques such as metaphor and image. The song "Khe Sahn" by Donald Walker also uses techniques to give people a glimpse of soldier handling in war and the challenges they have to overcome, all related to the journey.
This poem tells the journey of human life and the courage to persist. Each section represents an important stage of a journey of life, and how is courage presented through various actions and methods (small normal events of life)? This poem experiences children's first step, experiencing the first bicycle riding, first slapping, being bullied, youth, war, witnessing the death of a friend, and faced death did. Sexton uses a lot of images and a strong metaphor to present my view in a more meaningful and attractive way. The child showed courage when the child took the first step (adventure to the world, the first step of his life's journey), and the first time he got on the bike (trying new things). When talking that a child's heart is "alone", it shows the child's great courage to endure the first spanking.
There are 8 children, Cho, Youssef, Ani. They live in Vietnam, West Bank, Malaysia ... for all children, school begins more than a few kilometers. They are going on this trip alone. Their courage and whatever you can do - Walking, canoeing, horseback riding, or riding a donkey. Desert and mountain dangers, hostile terrain trappings, wildlife presence, fear of trampling are just a few of the challenges you face each day.
