E-commerce: Importance of consumer confidence Autumn wind blew through the forest and I attempted to carry four bags of groceries with two flights to an apartment in New York. What I felt before waiting for this important day is now very exciting. Today is the day when I talk to my future boss. I have been looking for New York companies and companies throughout the summer to find a reasonable job in the marketing business since my fourth year in graduate school.

Ecommerce and online shopping are growing exponentially every day. Trust is an important element in consumer online purchasing decisions. The lack of trust is the fundamental cause of many users who have not purchased goods or services from e-commerce sites. Many researches have been conducted in the field of trust and e-commerce. However, there is no single comprehensive definition of complex trust concepts and factors that build trust among electronic vendors. This article outlines the need to use a single comprehensive definition in e-commerce research, the factors that generate confidence, and the importance of trust in e-commerce.

This research provides a starting point for understanding trust, factors that influence trust, and the importance of trust in B2C e-commerce. Future research may provide further insight into the essence of electronic reliability and ultimately provide a means to stimulate trust in online transactions. Obviously, given the different definition of trust, you need to do some work to determine a single, comprehensive definition for e - commerce research. In addition, we need to continue the investigation to quantify the level of consumer confidence in e-commerce and online shopping.

Types of e-commerce In the last twenty years, there were three types of e-commerce.  C2C (inter-consumer) B2B (intercompany) B2C (intercompany) C2C e-commerce is an inter-person transaction made via the electronic platform. For example, purchasing on eBay is inter-consumer (C2C) e-commerce. Two other types of e-commerce are intercompany transaction (B2B) and intercompany transaction (B2C). An example of B2B e-commerce involves transactions between two companies to provide services to consumers. For example, one educational institution purchases broadband from Virgin Media to provide students with wireless Internet services. B2C e-commerce means purchasing goods and services from online commercial websites such as Amazon and LOVEFiLM.
