This year is 2081, and everyone will finally be equal. They are not just before God and the law. They are equal in all respects. No wise person than anyone else. No one is better than anyone else. No one is stronger or faster than anyone else. All of these equality arise from amendments to Articles 211, 212, 213 of the Constitution of the United States and the continuous watchfulness of representatives of persons with disabilities.

There is a big difference between equal opportunity and equality of results. The first one is worth fighting but the second one has led to direct vision nightmares - a beautiful example by Kurt Vonnegut's "Harrison Bergeron"

The movie version ("2081", Wikipedia) really pointed out that (yes, please do not expect to be happy later):

In the world where some people overly concern, confound equality of opportunity and equality of results, we strongly recommend doing so.

As I said in my article in 2081, this movie belongs to George Bergeron. His reaction to the story event is the main event we saw. In contrast, Harrison Bergeron was completely a Harrison film in 1995. Again, as in 2081, Harrison in 1995 was different from his story in Voneget. He is also older - from his teens to his early twenties, I think he has been blocked four times because of his good record. what? Good grades? Yes, that's right. American 's "good grades" in 2053 (Please do not ask me why I changed this year) is Cs. Has your last vocabulary test become D? You can do better. Is there a B? "Band" (called movie, mental disorder) did not go well enough. Do you have A +? Before your grades go down, you are a permanent member of the 14th grade. And you are Harrison Bergeron.

Before class: Please read Kurt Vonnegut 's satirical dystopia short novel "Harrison Bergeron". This story was first published in "Fantasy and Science Fiction Magazine" in 1961, it was made in short film called 2081 and feature film in 1995. Before class: Please read Philip K. Dick 's classic Destopia SF short story "Minority Report". This short story was first published in "Fantasy Universe" magazine in 1956 in order to investigate living life under surveillance and predict criminal acts to "make the United States again safe". It was adjusted to big screen by Steven Spielberg in 2002.

Kurt Vonnegut's short "Harrison Bergeron" has many similarities with Chandler Tuttle's short film "2081". Obviously, the same basic ideas and themes exist in both stories. They are all in the future and are forced to show strength by being forced to wear obstacles by everyone. In most cases, the two stories contain the same character of the same setting. The adaptation of short films may be slightly different in details, but most stories are the same. At the beginning of "2081", the story of the story is exactly the same as the beginning of Harrison Bergeron. Chandler Tuttle speaks directly from short stories
