Dynamics of History as Argument for Biblical Theology

At this point we will explore how Edwards can use history, place, and time as an argument for Biblical theology or his ransoming work. Edwards believes that redemption and history can not be separated, and vice versa. However, it takes years to develop this relationship into a consistent philosophy and to exchange it with historical theology. Edwards is confronted with the severity of how to demonstrate God's sovereignty and redemption activities in a constantly changing era. Strictly speaking, theology of the Bible is the foundation of systematic theology.
