Dylan Thomas was born in Upland of Swansea in October 1914 and brought up there. His father David John Thomas got a degree from Aberystwyth University, won first place in English and taught at Swansea Grammar School. His students felt he was bad and terrible, but his son inherited the beautiful and powerful reading voice. Thomas' mother, Florence Hannah Williams, was a tailor before marriage. Welsh is her first language, but her husband - he speaks Welsh - but likes English.
"The Altar of the Owl" and "There is no power to rule death" inevitably raises questions about the extent that Dylan Thomas is known as a religious writer. In an article about Dylan Thomas S. S. case book, Merwin was one of the first people to deal with this problem. He learned that Thomas is a religious writer. He was "the creator of the ceremony: the creator of the creator and the performer, what he celebrated was the creation, especially the state of mankind". The view on this issue can be as varied as the definition of a religious point of view. At one end of the commentary, the critics did not doubt that Thomas used a religious image in his poetry; on the other hand, the critic is generally not aware that during at least some period of his creative life, I generally believed that the vision of Thomas was not an orthodox religious system.
153 DYLAN THOMAS DYLAN THOMAS (). Welsh poet, short story writer, playwright. Thomas is admired in his carefully coordinated image, which focused on the theme of repetition, human, nature, and love of God. As a sarcastic spirit, Thomas is a popular reader of his own (and others) poetry and has great demand as his short-lived instructor. Do not spend that wonderful night Do not spend that wonderful night gently The old man should laugh with the burning at the end of the day; angry, mad at the annihilation of light. The wise men know that the darkness is right, but because they do not have lightning in their words, they do not enter gently for good night. Good people, last wave, how clever cries, their weak behavior may dance in the green bay, anger, anger against the death of light. They captured the sun in flight and sang, and the savages they learned too late were they saddened on the road, not gentle to good night. Please do not spend that wonderful night gently. 151
It is new. Fixed and extended the story of the third edition. Poetry ESSA Y S by RICHARD REYNOLDS, M. D. and Johnstone, M. D. Edit
Wales poet Dylan Thomas (1914 - 1953) showed the basic theme against opposition to death. Please do not enter a gentle and beautiful night. Dylan Thomas spoke directly from his heart to his dying dad, which was an important influence in his life. I always write poetry on the theme of cycle of life and death, but unlike Dorn, I present complicated information in a simple form. The first Teleset introduces the theme of poetry, uses opposed pairs that oppose death, and also end each section. In the first quarter, the theme of Thomas' resistance to death is obvious, the first line is in stark contrast to the third line. A calm image is aligned with the repetition of "anger". It motivates people to resist death caused by the passion of the young. Thomas almost asked to his father, "Do not be gentle, angry, do not get angry at the death of light."
