We departed to visit Little Talbot Island State Park this morning. Little Talbot Island is 27 miles northeast of Jacksonville, Florida. The island is made up of forests, sand dunes and salty wetlands. Information on Little Talbot Island State Park State Park is just $ 5 per vehicle.
When Carol, Becky, Fiona spent the beach, I chose to walk 4 miles to the Dune Ridge Trail.
I found a promenade in Little Talbot Island on a wonderful hiking site in Florida. I only want to forget to read these two comments before leaving.
The first track was fairly wide, but it shrank to countless big spider webs that quickly began crossing the sidewalk. These orb web hosting spiders range from 1 cm to almost palm size! I do not know if these spiders cause annoying bite! It is easy to avoid the mesh that shines under the sun, but the mesh in the shadow is hard to notice. But I will keep saying because I am not particularly afraid of spiders
Worse than a palm-sized spider, many mosquitoes began to fall on me. I killed most people but I did not avoid some biting before they had the opportunity to chew. If I stop for more than 2 seconds, I will have several mosquitos in me. Then I regret wearing shorts and T - shirts.
About 5 miles from the sidewalk, when I found a spider with a red hourglass shape, my bug problem has increased significantly. My first concern was that it was a female black widow. But after careful observation, I noticed that the shape and color of the black widow was wrong. But I am very enthusiastic about leaving the forest as soon as possible.
I breathed a sigh of relief as the narrow street passing through the forest passed the dunes and then the beach.
I really like walking along the beach. The temperature is around 90 degrees Fahrenheit, but this part of the walk is not bad.
While walking on the beach, I saw some shells of horseshoe crab. Unfortunately there are no living crabs. I always wanted to see a horseshoe crab, a crab that was considered "living fossil" 450 million years ago.
Even on the beach, I saw that I thought that it was a black head gull. However, I immediately recognized that the colors of the feet were different and there was white around the eyes. Looking up at these birds, I think they are laughing at the seagulls
Then we drank a sip in the barbecue area next to the parking lot, so I found a paramede swallowtail and countless ants
In addition to discovering five vultures while driving a house, I also saw a bald eagle. Unfortunately we were running on the main road and could not stop, so there was no photo. I am very glad to see such a wonderful bird yet.
A few hours by car from Jekyll Island to our campsite in Little Talbot Island, where I crossed the road from Florida. Like most east coast campgrounds, you can walk between the Atlantic's wide beach and the west sounds and see magnificent sunrises and sunsets. The downside is that the more we move Vietnam, the more likely it is to step over crocodiles and snakes. The advantage is that the availability of fresh shrimps and oysters from the boat has been improved.
