Dublin

The largest Irish city in the capital, located in the eastern part of the Irish Sea. It was founded by Nobel in the 9th century and is under British rule since 1171. As Ireland became independent in the 20th century, Dublin became a center of literature and culture.

Joyce was born in the suburbs of Dublin. He went to Jesuit School until his parents were unable to buy tuition, then Belvedere University (he received tuition) and Dublin University College. After graduation, Joyce moved to Paris and occasionally returned to Ireland since 1904. He lives in Trieste with his partner and later with his wife Nora Bernacre and their children.
