Drinking Water Shortage and Water Conservation

Humans and ecosystems depend on water to survive (Kenneth). Without this need, human beings, animals and plants can not survive for a long time. For us humans, water is the driving force of most of our economic and recreational activities. For example, we use water to produce energy for industry, transportation and outdoor recreation. Most of us also rely on water to provide comfort and cultural value. Barlow and Clarke said they can not simply drive away the freshwater crisis occurring in today's world (25).

There are various human activities and tendencies which are the main cause of drinking water shortage. These activities damage the environment, pollute the water source, or exert pressure on water resources, resulting in shortage of drinking water. Some of them are discussed below; environmental pollution is one of the main reasons for the shortage of drinking water. Pollution contaminates available water sources and risks water to human consumption. Contamination can also adversely affect the environment, adversely affect, and may drain water (Levy 62-67). This section explains three major pollution types, water and air pollution and groundwater contamination. Air pollution occurs through human activities such as industrial products or automobile products such as fuel combustion, release of hazardous gases, release of greenhouse gases, etc.

Therefore, the shortage of drinking water is a problem to be studied in detail and a solution to this problem has been developed. There are many reasons for the shortage of drinking water, but most of it is due to human activities. These activities include activities such as deforestation, contamination, water abuse, groundwater contamination that cause global warming. If future generations want to survive, it is important to develop a solution to this problem. This paper aims to analyze the shortage of drinking water resources and cause and solution of problems. Finally, I will summarize the issues discussed.

Drinking water shortage around the world is being debated. In many developing countries, people can not access drinking water for various reasons. Water resources are exhausted in some cases, and water resources are contaminated in other cases. As a result, the population of Africa, in particular, is faced with many waterborne diseases, mainly due to contamination of water resources. Water resources are further pressed by human activities such as population increase and industrial activities, and drinking water is short. As a result, there are many conflicts in pastures and water resources, which leads to injury and death (Gleick 17 - 22). As stated above, this highlights the importance of finding solutions to water shortages.
