There was a considerable number of fashion changes during and after World War II. Some of the major changes are as follows. More and more casual clothes, less sophisticated fashion, and disappearance of shorts. While an American boy was wearing knee socks and stockings, shorts began to wear summer clothes. After the war, American short boys' short hair style was very popular. It is forbidden to use large amounts of cloth or unnecessary things such as leg sleeves, aprons, exteriors, decorative decorations, patch pockets, petticoats, etc.
"World War II left us out of the Great Depression." Many people said that during the war several people are still working today. However, the quality of life in America was unstable during the war. Food is distribution, luxuries are canceled, taxes are high, and work is dangerous. As Robert Higgs pointed out in the Great Depression, War, Cold War, this recovery has not been successful. Roosevelt imagined the New Deal Renaissance. He established the National Resource Planning Committee (NRPB) in 1939 and urged it to plan peace during the war. The leaders of the NRPB believe that government plans are necessary to promote economic development. They follow consciously (and sometimes unconsciously) the idea that John Maynard Keynes has advertised in his best-selling book "Employment, Interest, and General Theory of Money" in 1936.
When most people think about wartime food distribution, they think about World War II. However, civilian people also encourage themselves to contribute to war during the First World War. This colorful poster by the artist Charles E. Chambers was issued by the US Food and Drug Administration to encourage voluntary food protection. "Food wins the war" is the name of the campaign initiated by Herbert Hoover, the newly appointed head of the institution. Food not only needs to feed the growing US military but also need to help alleviate European famine to prevent overthrow of the European government and spread of communism. On April 25, 1919, Mr. Hoover wrote as follows. "Of course, America's main goal of fighting famine in Europe is to save the lives of people who are hungry, it is a hungry maid."
