Most people think that sleep is a passive and relatively static process, but sleep is a very active state of consciousness. While sleeping, we also have the idea, view and feelings known as a dream. This evaluation of sleep and dreams shows a change in sleep cycle while focusing on REM sleep. Also, I will study the history behind the analysis of dreams and introduce cool dreams. Everything about dreams and sleep is how our body recovers energy at rest.
Dream sleep is also known as REM sleep, or rapid eye movement sleep. As its name suggests, when sleeping in a dream, the eyes move quickly under the closed eyelids. Dream sleep occurs in the final sleeping state, accounting for 15% to 20% of the average person's sleeping time. Every night on average, everyone dreams four to seven times, but the most memorable dream in the morning is the nearest dream to wake up. Just because a dreamer does not remember a dream, it did not happen. Whether they remember these dreams, everyone is dreaming every night. It usually takes 30 to 90 minutes to start dreaming asleep. After reaching the deepest sleep stage, the dreamer will enter REM sleep for the remainder of the night. Blood pressure and heart rate fluctuate and increase during REM sleep
REM sleep is the main time to dream. Dreams can happen at any time during the sleep cycle, but dreams are clearer and easier to remember when they appear at the Rem stage (Feldman, R., p. 144). Since the discovery of REM sleep in 1953, REM sleep has become the main focus of dream research. Research has been conducted to support the theory that REM sleep can be the most important part of the sleep cycle. In the experiment, those who were allowed to go to sleep but who were not allowed to enter REM stage got worse in the next day's assignment. People who were allowed to complete all sleep cycles including REM worked better in the mission of the next day (Dixon, M. & Hayes, L. 1999). The importance of REM sleep depends on the psychological method explaining it
There are two types of sleeping: rapid eye movement (REM) and non-rapid eye movement (non-rapid eye movement). REM sleep and non-REM sleep are alternately performed from 90 minutes to 100 minutes cycle. Most dreams occur during REM sleep. A nightmare usually occurs at midnight or early in the evening when REM sleep and dreaming are more common. A nightmare is a bad dream, usually accompanied by imaginary dangers and threatens those who own it. Children may think of dangerous or horrible situations. A nightmare may involve disturbing themes, pictures, or characters such as monsters, ghosts, animals, bad guys. Losing control and fear of injury is a common theme. Children usually do not cry or walk around when they have a nightmare. She often remembers what this dream is when the child calms down as he wakes up.
