Most of us grew with big plans and dreams. Perhaps we want to become a professional athlete, a scientist who won the Nobel Prize, a famous novelist, a movie star, or an American president. Usually, my dream when I was young was very big. Why? I can do it!
However, as time passed, most childhood days' fantasies and dreams did not come true. We have better contact with many of our limits and other priorities and we have to be satisfied with what our young dreamers wanted often. Our culture (usually our family) certainly encourages us to have a wonderful idea, an ambitious plan and pursue the highest level of success. Sadly, parents sometimes brought their unexplored dreams to their children, then they do the same for their children and a series of potential frustration and misfortune leave behind. Sometimes we actually achieve these very high targets and we will achieve even more. But in most cases, we do not have it
I am disappointed that many people may be "competitors". I feel like asking adults that I think that I am a young dream and I think that it may be there for them to succeed in my life. In addition, as long as we strive hard to achieve our goals, we tend to maintain our view that we can achieve our desired life. All of this can involve sweat, courage and determination. High standards and high goals are important, but in order to avoid disappointment it is necessary to be practical and feasible. Otherwise, we are often obsessed with failures and I am disappointed that our young dream has never come true. We are concerned and dissatisfied with our lives. We also do not approve of ourselves and the people around us.
Anyway, what is success? What do you think is the measure of your success? Sometimes I realize that many of my clinical patients (and friends and colleagues) are obviously taking on much of their success. Many people are used to their lifestyle and often forget how good they are in their lives. If you live when you wake up in the morning, you can find your job by making yours vertical, eating something, drinking a good coffee and then finding a job, then I often joke Told. As I said, "It's all very good."
The media is constantly showing people who have achieved amazing results. Comparing social comparisons upwards, we feel that we are losers and failures when we compare our lives with the lives of wealthy celebrities and successful people.
Looking back on what it means to succeed in life, it turns out that simple things such as adequate food, dwelling, love, meaningful work all together make up a successful life and lifestyle I will. A life filled with love and meaning is a successful life
Of course, there is no need to attain young but unrealistic goals to succeed. Please consider to realize a simple and basic life. And do not consider as many simple things you enjoy as a matter of course, many people in the world may just dream of achieving
In early twenties of adolescence, at this point the dream is more refined and "realistic", but still dreaming of becoming true. Perhaps we dream to be our own business or become a very successful attorney. In any case, we give a special degree to our dreams and we will look for clear goals. For many years, I have always dreamed of running my own business. I started working as a waitress at the age of 14 and I liked it from the first day. Since I thought that I was good at running a coffee shop, I started to develop my own planning process in my early twenties. I have created a 60 page business plan with very specific success indicators.
Being a homeowner before marriage is not an important part of my life plan. I never thought of wearing a single room with a white dress or white fence. I am very realistic and I am dreaming of making a pretty small wedding. If I have the economic ability to do this, it's a 2 bedroom townhouse, maybe a small lawn, and some Vegetables can grow. But my husband once owned the house. Unfortunately, he is a freelance graphic designer who faced foreclosure in the recession of 2008. Experience is very difficult, but he has begun to accept it; the fact that millions of others are in the same situation certainly will alleviate this blow.
