Dr King's Vision of Economic and Social Justice

There are not many people remembering that "Washington March" in 1963 was officially named "Washington March's inauguration ceremony and freedom". This fact often fails in important celebrations such as Dr. Martin Luther King 's "I Have a Dream" speech. Indeed, the theme of employment creation is established through the work of Dr. King. Federal funded employment guarantees are all ready and willing to work, so it is impossible to impose a major social and economic impact on the African American community and the whole country with a single policy .

Dr. Martin Luther King is committed to providing all people with equality, social justice, and economic opportunities. The wonderful curriculum he encourages is taught in schools around the world today. His powerful remarks and speech are played on television, often quoted on social media, and his bold vision continues to bring hope and inspiration to the world. However, in 1994 the US Congress designated Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday as the day of national service because Dr. King promised to serve everyone.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dr. King's speech as a society, we need to reaffirm that we fulfill the dream of Dr. King and realize social justice for all. We all share a common interest in eliminating social injustice. As Dr. King said, "Inequality everywhere is a threat to justice in every place" Dr. Barry S. Levy and Dr. Victor W. This week, we celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King's life and heritage. We should celebrate the lasting influence he has given to social and environmental justice, while respecting the impact of Dr. King on American society. King once said that "unfairness is a threat to justice everywhere" everywhere. Now, more than ever, we have to correct climate change, one of the biggest environmental injustices ever unprecedented. Combustion of fossil fuels causes rapid global warming of the earth's surface which poses a direct threat to the environment and human health. In fact, the US National Climate Assessment recently stated that climate change is detrimental to the health of many Americans and stated that people in colored communities are particularly vulnerable to these effects. The imbalanced impact of climate change on the health of vulnerable people and communities is largely due to harmful pollution afflicting the environment in which they live.
