An article entitled Northrop Frye's article "Do not you think that time to think has come?" Is an argument about how to effectively use language and thought. His argument is that there are differences in the level of reading and writing, like short-term and integer mathematics.
I believe that all of what we do for our thoughts, worries, memories, fantasies can be accomplished without any training. But this is another practical matter. Our ability to think depends on how much we did. Most students need to wait for legitimate words to surround it and be extremely cautious and patient with their education without undue thought.
He is interested in teaching its citizens "societies like us", but continues to insist that they are interested only in self-satisfaction and obedience. In other words, it is interested in learning how to read and think. Otherwise, society prefers people to be particularly unclear (this indicates intelligence). Clear expressions are signs of personality and do not have to be constantly evaluated in culture. This makes them feel embarrassed by people who can express themselves, rather they can urge them to use cliche or stereotypes, so they become less prominent.
Fly cites George Orwell's usage of the word as an example of how to maintain power by confusing words (making it hard to understand). Cliche and stereotypes can also hide meanings. When that language becomes meaningless (or at least looks meaningless) it will become helpless.
His conclusion is that teachers in the humanities not only strive to resist 'many assumptions of misunderstandings and unmodified' but also 'to transform passive acceptance into positive and constructive power' It is not to be done. These teachers have fought that they can not read or write.
Obviously, Frye believes that society no longer places emphasis on citizens who are well-expressive and clear in thought. He said,
In such a case, thinking is a learning process that requires effort and practice. Young people often fear doing what they really think - or if you never think twice (too lazy) you are overly satisfied. Perhaps the teacher is irritated or lazy about teaching these skills.
In this article I am trying to encourage those who try to identify this cultural problem and try to "fix it". He has two arguments. First, society has begun accepting real "thinking" that everyone is thinking and talking. Secondly, being a good speaker and listener will make people a powerful force in nonverbal society. Frye's title question, "Do not you think it's time to start thinking?" That is actually a challenge. He reminds us that clear ideas are always worthwhile skills. "He finished this post.
"Do you think it's time to start thinking?" Fly used his voice. He used a wise tone throughout the article. I think he is writing people who are hiding in Cliche and are not thinking about myself. He tells the students by speaking to them by telling them that the power of their thoughts is in clarity. He is also talking to the teacher, they emphasized that they must motivate students to express their ideas clearly. I think he is trying to keep people from hiding in the public through noncritical thought. He asked me to learn how to think critically to people and how to think critically at school. He not only needs to be able to think critically but also they need to be able to express their thoughts. People need to make their ideas consistent and easy to understand.
An article entitled Northrop Frye's article "Do not you think that time to think has come?" Is an argument about how to effectively use language and thought. His argument is that "there are differences in the level of reading and writing, like short-term and comprehensive mathematics." Everything that is done for our thoughts, worries, memories, and fantasies can be thought without thinking. It is implemented in the case of training. But this is another practical matter. Our ability to think depends on how much we did. Most students need to wait for legitimate words to surround it and work very carefully and patiently on their education without undue thought.
