"Students often graduate from high school today without using languages regardless of their structure, and they may think that reading or writing is the basic skill he acquired in childhood. The ability is limited, yet he considers that he can think of it, and if he has the opportunity to express his meaning he thinks he will write short stories and points in mathematics.
In Northrop fly, "Do not you think that time to think has come?" Fly strongly hopes to raise awareness of the importance of critical thinking. Not only for students, but also for parents and teachers. Stuart McMillen 's comic "Funny Self and Death" shows the contrast between people being dominated by happiness (brave new world) and fear (1984). Personally, I believe that the explanation of "Brave New World" fully explains the society of today. Huxley is worried that no one studies, and many or all schools are like this. Most students absolutely avoid reading books, but this leads to lack of knowledge, vocabulary and writing skills. The ability to write is important in order to express your ideas clearly with words. "The manipulation of thinking is to express ideas until it is expressed with correct words" (Frye, paragraph 7). We have priorities and critical thinking is not one of them.
"Do you think it's time to start thinking?" Fly used his voice. He used a wise tone throughout the article. I think he is writing people who are hiding in Cliche and are not thinking about myself. He tells the students by speaking to them by telling them that the power of their thoughts is in clarity. He is also talking to the teacher, they emphasized that they must motivate students to express their ideas clearly. I think he is trying to keep people from hiding in the public through noncritical thought. He asked me to learn how to think critically to people and how to think critically at school. He not only needs to be able to think critically but also they need to be able to express their thoughts. People need to make their ideas consistent and easy to understand.
