What is abortion is to kill the fetus in the uterus of the mother. According to Don Marquis, killing the fetus is not morally permitted. Marquez advocated an assertion that abortion is immoral and rarely accepted. According to Marquez's article "Why Abortion is Immoral?" Abortion is morally acceptable in only a few cases. The view of Marquis' s abortion is relevant. I am a woman, so I can give birth to a child, so I think women have the right to decide whether abortion is allowed or not.
In the first part of this series, Belvedere quotes Don Marquis as trying to bypass personality assumptions, thinking that abortion is still murderous even though we think that the fetus is not a person . The Marquis believes that it is wrong to kill someone. Because the fetus has value in the future, deprivation of its value by abortion is morally equivalent to murder. Most people agree that murder is wrong and that it is wrong to infringe personal autonomy. Therefore, discussions supporting life / support choice depend on personality issues. But there is no logical way to prove it. Do you believe that the fetus is a person, you do not believe it. In other words, you rely on confidence. This is the reason why abortion is closely related to religious beliefs.
As Judith Thomson and Marquis Tang have acknowledged, fetuses are considered to be living before birth. Most supporters of abortion and supportive choice believe that abortion morals mainly depend on this issue, but Thomson and Marquis believe that more moral reasoning must be made to reach reasonable conclusions . Don Marquis, opposed to abortion, establishes the right to the fetal life by studying the mistakes of killing adults and tying them to adults. Judith Thomson, who defended the abortion, was aware of the lifetime rights of the fetus, but found that this right is not enough to prohibit abortion because there is no obligation to give the fetus life. Both philosophers have deeply researched human rights rather than standard discussions on abortion, but Judith Thomson proposed a more persuasive discussion to defend abortion and clarified the loophole in the discussion of Don Marquez And their necessity for fetal dependence and living
In this article we support Judith Jarvis Thomson's view on abortion. I defend the use in the middle of pregnancy, but this is limited to the first semester. I will consider opposing Don Marquis' way of doing this, but eventually I will confront Thomson. The standard claim against abortion claims that the fetus is a person and therefore has a right to life. Thomson showed that this standard discussion on abortion is somewhat inappropriate for abortion ethics. (1) a fetus is a person (or morally equivalent) (2) a murder is wrong (C) an abortion is wrong
