October 7, 2011, San Jose Mission, October 7, the festival of the Dominican Party, more than 30 women from 13 congregations gathered at the mother's house in San Jose Sisters, Dominica, California. They discussed their hopes and dreams for religious life in Dominica, and the unique challenge of becoming a young member of their congregation.

For 125 years I have served in Houston, Galveston, Sabine, and other parts of Texas, California, and Guatemala. The two preparatory schools of St. Agnes University and St. Pius X High School in Houston continue to grow. Today, our members are about 66 people, of which one third is the Minister of Education, others are the Ministry of Dioceses, religious education, social welfare, Ministry of Campus, counseling, medical, law, family and women's services I am in.
