Domestic vs. International Travel

When choosing a spring break destination that is most suitable for you or your friends, there are several important factors to consider before finalizing the plan. One of the aspects of travel that you should know before booking is the difference between domestic and overseas travel, and the contents of each trip.

Domestic travel is in the USA. The largest StudentCity Spring vacation destination in the country is Panama City Beach in Florida State and South Padre Island in Texas State. Traveling to Las Vegas, Nevada, Miami, Florida is also possible.

International travel is a trip to the outside of the United States. The biggest international spring vacation destination is Cancun, Mexico and Nassau of the Bahamas. We also offer trips to Freeport, Bahamas, Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Vallarta and Mexico.

To travel to international destinations, you need a valid passport to enter the country you are visiting through Customs and return to the United States. If you do not currently have a passport, it may take several weeks to receive, so you need to complete the work by the departure date.

All-inclusive resort is only available for overseas trips. All-inclusive accommodation is not available in the United States

All-inclusive means that food and beverage (alcohol) at the hotel's facilities is included in the total amount of the trip. This includes hints, but we encourage you to turn over your server and bartender

Food and drinks are not included in the room rate. StudentCity travelers can enjoy free beer and happy hour deal in various places during the trip but still buy food and drinks at local destinations.

StudentCity will not reserve flights for domestic travel. Many travelers will drive to the US Spring Break Destination and save hundreds of dollars to them

At overseas destinations, the age of drinking is over 18 years old. In the domestic areas such as Panama City and South Padre, people over the age of 18 participate in the club, but the age of drinking in the United States is 21 years. When traveling outside of the United States, people of all ages can participate in the party responsibly at all events.
