Dolly Parton opened her theme park, Dollywood in 1986 and received a wide range of evaluations. Through Herschede Home Entertainment, Parton owns Dollywood and all the related attractions through Dollywood. Dolly Hill helped explosively increase tourist attractions, cheap entertainment facilities, chain restaurants and shopping malls to explore the road to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Former Dollywood employee Maggie Jacobi was born in a country community in Hancock County, Tennessee in 1939 and was born about 70 miles north of a place where Dolly Parton was born seven years later. Her aunt and uncle grew up in Morristown, Tennessee, a small town in Appalachia, where she is located at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains. During her adulthood, the area has experienced industrial prosperity.

Patton spent most of his income on home commercial East Tennessee, especially Pigeon Forge commercial business. She is a co-owner of The Dollywood (formerly Silver Dollar City), Dinner Theater, Dolly Parton's Stampede, Water Park Dollywood's Splash Country, and Dream More Resort and Spa at The Pigeon Forge. Dollywood is evaluated as the 24th most popular theme park in the United States, and has about 3 million visitors each year. Dolly Parton's Stampede business is located in Branson, Missouri and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The old site in Orlando, Florida was closed in January 2008 after the land and buildings were sold to developers. Since June 2011, the location of Myrtle Beach became pleasure tour fun, feast, and adventure, Parton appeared at the opening ceremony and the South Carolina Convention was announced as Dolly Parton Day on June 3, 2011 .
