Documenting Fellow Travelers on Their Journeys

In many of her projects, German photographer Koenning is exploring the sense of this place and attribution through daily life.

Transit guide is a project to record the movement of people passing through the Koenning camera lens. From passengers sleeping in passing cars to colleagues sitting in the train passages, Australian artists can capture the essence of long distance travel.

Koenning showed a quiet and peaceful travel moment to the audience before the excitement to reach the new destination. She said, "By destiny, fate, or coincidence, strangers are forced to be thrown together and share a private space. The sitting and seeing the world is quiet."
