Diversity behavior is best defined as individual behavior, emotional and thought processes, that is, how to interact with others and others. Many actions may be considered congenital, but there are external factors that may affect individual behavior. Because these factors are diverse and demographic, this article explains four of these factors and shows the impact each has on individuals. In this article I will explain three extensive lessons from the military leadership diversity committee. These will focus on diversity utilizing (1) qualified minority candidates, (2) diversity of career path effects, and (3) departmental organization.
