The purpose of this paper is to compare and contrast Hofstead 's five - dimensional culture as a comparative factor between the Western teaching method represented by the United States and the East side teaching method typified by Japan. In this article, I will first describe culture and its aspects, then compare the United States and Japan in each section and explain each aspect in detail.
