Discussion of the Issue of Deforestation

Forest logging is cutting of trees in forest areas, and it is faster than natural regeneration and natural regeneration. Trees play a very important role in stabilizing the climate, atmospheric composition and soil structure, and rapid deforestation is a major problem. There are many reasons behind human cutting trees. There are many reasons for deforestation, such as logging, agriculture, natural disasters, urbanization, mines. There are several ways to cut down forests - incineration and deforestation are two ways. Forest destruction occurs worldwide, but it is a particularly serious problem in the Amazon rainforest in Brazil. There, tropical forests and their flora and fauna have disappeared at an astonishing rate. For example, in December 2007 experts measured Amazon's destruction in excess of 360 square miles (932 square kilometers) in just one month.

In light of discussions on continuous deforestation, this paper first defines forest degradation and deforestation and then explores the potential misunderstandings of these definitions. After the discussion, the causes of the global deforestation process were analyzed and several important findings on tropical and temperate deforestation patterns were derived. According to the publication of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) (2009), the next section will soon introduce discussions on the definition of deforestation and deforestation on a global scale. For numerous research and policy measures on forest degradation and deforestation it is necessary to establish common words to guide mutual conclusions and find suitable solutions.
