Discussion of D.Z. Phillips Conception of Immortality

In his book 'Death and Immortality' discussing D. Z. Phillips' immortality concept, D Z Philips initially raised the question of whether immortality belief depends on mistakes. The first two chapters are negative, as they are studying traditional philosophy and the concept of common sense to immortality. Philips believes that philosophical analysis, focusing on the concept of immortality, is usually built on certain basic prerequisites. Under the prerequisite, assume that there is some form of personal identity continuation after death.

Thinking about immortality poses a question: "What is not dead?" What do we propose to become immortal? In general, this type of discussion assumes that we mean immortality of our bodies, our brains, and the ideas contained therein. This combination of body, brain, and mind is what we call "self". When talking about immortality, we are talking about ourselves, our identity. Because the medical understanding for the human body has greatly improved, the greatest improvement we can achieve today will simply extend our lives for many years. Flanigan and Kate Flanigan Sawyer, discuss how our practices have been added to our lives for over 20 years. These are primarily commonsense solutions, but authors will support the recommendation and use hard science to discuss which solutions seem to make a difference.

Immortal argument: The human self concept is full of immortal beliefs of the human soul. It leads to understanding the value of human beings. My essence as an individual continues to live because my body is immortal even after my body dies. It is also related to the understanding of the reward. In other words, my life on the ground decides my eternal life in some way. Finally, the eternal concept connects anthropology and anthropology, and wishes for a better life and perfect human beings than death.

In recent years, the concept of human immortality has been frequently discussed.
