In Malaysia, discrimination against members of the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered) community has reached new strength, and sodomies are still crimes. In fact, the government continues to refuse to abolish Article 377A - B of the Penal Code which criminalizes "physical sexual intercourse with the natural order" and impose an extended period of penalty for 20 years. Until 2013, government-sponsored concerts were aimed at alerting young people to the dangers of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender people causing extensive controversy over the possibility of fueling hatred.
Discrimination against LGBT is not a matter of the community, it is both a national problem and a human problem. LGBT mental health problems and suicide rates are still higher than other communities. In addition to being able to bear the burden of regional discrimination, it has been shown that a non-comprehensive work environment will have a significant impact on workplace productivity. Liberty and equality are UN initiatives, and studies in 39 countries explain that alienation of the LGBT community has largely lost potential economic outcomes. In an economy like India, annual loss of $ 30 billion will lead to economic growth and tax revenue, thereby damaging education and medical funds
The LGBT's support policy and workplace environment are associated with discrimination mitigation by LGBT employees and more opening up to LGBT. Conversely, discrimination and declining openness will lead to better job performance, improved workplace relations, improved workplace satisfaction, improved health outcomes, and improved productivity for LGBT employees.
There are 100 different elements that can explain discrimination against the LGBT community, it can not even solve all problems and can not identify all problems. But one of the problems we are confident that we can identify and solve is how the global economy supports the pink economy and the global LGBT community is not fully utilized. For this reason, the global LGBT community does not actually use that power as a group to promote the rights of LGBTs around the world.
People identified as LGBTs continue to face discrimination, oppression and deteriorating circumstances in many societies around the world. The LGBT Foundation and the LGBT Token make distributed and secure ways for each member of the community to be in full control over the transaction, without being under or under the control of the government or enterprise. With LGBT tokens, each member can define not only the content stored in the block chain, but also the user with information and access rights.
