Four hospitals in Istanbul were named after the nightingale. Turkish Heart Disease Foundation. The appeal is being considered for the former Derbyshire Royal Hospital Hospital in the UK Derby, named after the Nightingale. The proposed new name will be Nightingale Community Hospital or Florence Nightingale Community Hospital. The Derby hospital area was recently called the "night area".
