Direct and Indirect Representation

Direct and indirect expressions are in the democratic society and as Americans, we have the right to vote on every aspect of our lives. The number of votes that we vote can express our beliefs directly or indirectly. Our beliefs are represented directly in cases like cities and state-wide laws; our voting has an indirect impact on all domestic and organizational issues. These decisions were made by us to vote for elected officials representing our faith. Examples of such indirect expressions are found in any board of education throughout the city and the elected members make decisions on various aspects of teacher employment and classroom courses.

It is a form of government that gives each citizen an equal voice in decision making. Participation is direct or indirect. In ancient Greece, direct expression was possible, but by indirect expression each citizen can express his opinion. The basic principle of this form of government is sovereignty of the people. In addition to the citizens' sovereignty, equality and freedom are an important pillar of democracy. It is that in the continuation of this ideology all citizens of the country are equal in law terms. At the same time, freedom of political speech, freedom of speech, freedom of press is also an important element of democracy. There is no doubt that democracy has its strengths and weaknesses and they have played a part in the success of this form of government.

Direct democracy, also called pure democracy, is a form in which citizens participate directly in democratic decision-making, as opposed to indirect or representative democracy based on citizens' sovereignty. This can be done by voting democracy or by directly voting for candidates or political parties, by exercising voting rights or referendum. Sometimes this term is also used to vote directly for an election, not a recall of civil servants elected by indirect elections or elections (by voting for electoral organizations, electoral colleges, etc). Although direct democracy can be understood as a comprehensive political system, in modern times it usually means a specific decision making system in a wider representative democratic environment.

Representative democracy is legitimate because it is indirectly based on people's will. Indirect representatives are said to legalize and strengthen the position of representative representative democracy. As time passed, the country grew in size and lost its direct influence. The ability to act directly as a representative in densely populated countries is declining due to inefficiency and lack of time. The indirect impact on political power and power makes it possible for the major powers to have legitimate representative democracy, as most ideologies still dominate the legislative process
