Different Aspects of Caring for a Muslim Family

Taking care of cultures other than yourself requires respect, sensitivity, understanding and creativity. In this article we will explore various aspects of caring for Muslim families, how to change aspects of care, and what ways are needed to look after the family. We will also investigate the interventions that nurses can take when caring for children in this culture. In culture and care care, cross-cultural cooperation is inevitable. As a nurse, we must accept the challenges of dealing with different cultures and find creative solutions to the health care challenges that we may encounter when careing patients in different cultures.

Most cultural differences come from religious conservatism. Muslims retain moral and family values. Alcohol, smoking, and sex before marriage are strictly forbidden. For many Muslims, Americans do not care about their families, they abandon their parents when they get older, suffer from AIDS, pornography, pregnant teenagers, abortions, and illegal babies. Muslims do not want these aspects of American culture. Because they are ashamed of the Prophet Muhammad who won the military commander and political ruler's victory. The country is always a tool of Islam and God is considered to be the leader of the state and religion. This is in sharp contrast to the West Christians separating the church from the state. Probably only 4 Arab countries are forming nominal democracy (Lewis, 2002).

However, not all aspects of Muslim life are included in the five pillars. For example, the important aspect is the lives of families and communities. Zaca's pillar (for those in need) touched this aspect of Muslim life in part, but its weight was not fully reflected in such orders. When Muhammad left Mecca, he began a complete Muslim community with Oasis of Yasrib. The latter is known as the city of the prophet or the Medina. For those who confirmed their faith and participate in the community, loyalty to the community is thought to be more important than loyalty to something, including family members. This community sets the standards of the Muslim community, as today's Muslims can still be seen as a way of life, not religions that are yet to be separated from other lives. Many communities and countries using Muslims make it a lifestyle instead of religion, which continues today in Muslim countries.
