Introduction With today's labor force, there are many colleagues in many generations. Four existing generations of existing generation are tradition, baby-boomer generation, generation X, generation Y. Currently, the baby-boomer generation and the Y generation occupy the majority of employees. There are meaningful differences among generations, good performance at work, attitude at work, cause of conflict at work and communication at work.
Generation gap is the difference between generation, opinion, behavior, belief, interest. These differences often lead to misunderstandings and misunderstandings between older generations and younger generations. The reason for this gap between generations is usually due to rapid changes in society, especially with advances in technology and globalization. Unlike other societies, Cambodia has a wider gap between generations, not only due to advances in technology and telecommunications, but also due to the difference in background, that is, the tragic history experienced by elderly generations. The Khmer Rouge regime is a tragedy of the history of Cambodia and the trauma and emotional scars left by each survivor by the administration formed the perception of the older generation world.
It is a secret that there is a gap between the young generation and the old generation. This is not new. The younger generation feels criticized, often being underestimated that they have been misunderstood by older generations. They feel that older generations are critical for the younger generation, but in reality their impressions for younger generations are usually closed. When you talk to some of older generations, you will find that they may be more conservative when they grow up in the areas of these lives. There is no real reason other than how they are promoted. As the world gets older every day, we will head toward a more open society.
All young people said, "The younger generation is very different from us." All young people said, "Older generations do not understand, the world has changed." It should be accepted from intergenerational disconnections. Tomorrow's leaders can not apply past solutions to future problems and can not continue to succeed. What is attractive is that each generation is a product of each culture and environment. Differences and subtle differences that older generations can not understand will help them to play a role in the world they encounter.
