Faulkner's novel "I am dead" allows me to meet 15 different characters who tell stories from their point of view. One of the characters was Dewey Dell, and after the death of his mother, his life changed completely. She is the only girl in the Bundren family, and most importantly, she is pregnant. Due to the outcome of this incident, she is more interested in removing pregnancies than her mother's funeral. But this situation is not easy for her because she does not want this kid, and she can not tell anyone about her secret.

Regarding the use of the Bundren character, Dewey Dell shows that you can easily operate women, especially the poor, uneducated, desperate women. She wanted an abortion because she was pregnant, but MacGowan used her ignorance and probably raped her. Deweyer is now the only woman in the family; when Eddie dies, Dewey is expected to take over the task of all "women". Immediately after seeing her mother dies she is going to cook. She has no relatives of women seeking advice on pregnancy. In addition to her own children, she is basically expected to nurture her brother Vardaman.

Burying Eddie and satisfying her ultimate desire is the ultimate goal of the trip ... or is it? Jewel, Cash, Dahl, Varddaman are sorrowful in their unstable ways. However, Anse and Dewey Dell each have their own agenda. Anse (of course) needs her sexual desire to travel with them to get new teeth and new wives, Dewey and abortions. In fact, they decided very quickly to send Darl to a mental hospital. It shows that they have nothing to do with Bundrens, they are fixed by love, care and family values.

Lack of education: sex education does not exist; Dewey Dell does not know how she is pregnant. Anse puts the foot of Cash in the cement cast. Eddie beat her students. Peabody is an obese doctor who has to raise the mountain. The family took a walk around the rotten body for 8 days. There is no doubt that educational reform is necessary in the southern part. Psychosis: Vardaman does not understand death and considers her mother as a fish. Darl is devoted to a mental hospital, but this is mainly due to his actions (burning in the barn), not thorough psychiatric examination. So no one knows who is crazy whether it is reasonable. All of these are based on social expectations, which is a disaster in an illegal society. They may all be angry. Or, in that society, they are all reasonable. As cash said:
