Our study is about MR / learning of developmental disorders, which is an extensive group of severe chronic diseases (). These chronic diseases are due to mental and physical damage. The cause of developmental disorder is caused by various factors such as genetic / inheritance, poor pregnancy reaction, possible infection when the mother carries the child, environmental factors during pregnancy. Developmental disorders occur in all races. More than 150,000 babies are born in the United States every year and suffer from developmental disorders.
There is functional impairment. Dysfunction can be physical (affecting the body) or cognitive (affecting mental function). Developmental disorders are disorders that can affect physical, cognitive, learning, linguistic or behavioral development (CDC, 2015c). This means that normal development may have hindrance (human growth and working style) or dysfunction (people may not be able to function according to normal developmental process). Sex, ethnic groups, ethnic groups, socio-economic groups all have developmental disabilities. According to CDC (2015c), one in six children has developmental disability or developmental delay
There are various kinds of developmental disorders. Among many developmental disorders are mental retardation, Down's syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, hearing and vision disorders, and learning disabilities. We explore many kinds of developmental disorders. Mental retardation is often referred to as mental retardation, but this term is no longer used because it is aggressive (Leahy, Fuzy & Grafe, 2013). To be mentally retarded means that the person's cognitive ability is lower than the average person's age. Mentally handicapped persons may range from mild to severe mental retardation (CDC, 2015 d).
Mental retardation includes "cognitive" parts of the definition, disorders that are widely associated with thought processes. Because intellectual disabilities and other developmental disorders often occur simultaneously, people with intellectual disabilities often collaborate with people with both types of disabilities. AAIDD published the most advanced scientific idea on this issue in the eleventh edition of this "Mental Retardation: Definition, Classification and Support System". In defining and evaluating intellectual disabilities, AAIDD emphasizes that in addition to evaluating intellectual behavior and adaptive behavior, experts must consider the following factors:
