The purpose of this experiment was to investigate the effect of different concentrations on the germination of mung bean seeds by copper ions. This experiment used seed germination as a parameter to present different concentrations of copper ion solution (Cu 2+) in copper sulfate (ii) (CuSO 4). The solutions used were 300 ppm, 200 ppm, 100 ppm, 75 ppm, 50 ppm, 25 ppm and 0 ppm and the seeds were soaked for 6 hours and then seeded in a petri dish with a wet cotton layer. Seeds were watered with the same volume of Cu 2+ solution at each concentration. The number of germinated seeds was recorded after 20 hours and the germination rate was calculated. The results showed that the germination rate increases as the concentration decreases.

The purpose of this project was to investigate the effect of various concentrations of vitamin C solution on the seed germination of Brassica parachinensis or Choy Sum. Seed treated with various concentrations of vitamin C solution was used and the germination rate was calculated. Seeds were soaked in increasing concentrations of vitamin C solution for 12 hours, dried and then seeded in germinating trays. Seeds were watered with the same amount of vitamin C solution of each concentration. After 36 hours, the number of germinated seeds was counted and the germination rate was calculated and recorded. The results showed that the germination rate increased with the use of low concentration vitamin C solution. The results showed that 1% vitamin C solution has the highest germination rate.
