This is the second story I have read about Chopin. The other is "an hourly story". I like "Desiree's Baby", even if it is a bit dark, that's good (please allow puns)
Desiree was brought up by Ms. Valmonde, and her career had no details. Armand Aubigny owns L'Abri plantation and fell in love with Desiree who got married and bore a child. Then confusion appeared. As an example, Desiree will go back and forth between children and boys' slaves and compare them. Are they similar? Armand and La Blanche, what happened between slaves and suspicion of Desiree's mother?
What is the real reason Armand suddenly did not become tolerant of Desiree? Is he because he thinks that he is a product of a racial relationship? Or is he afraid of his historical truth? Or does not he truly understand his own history?
Because of a short story "Desiree's Baby" is made to think very much. It is influential and not necessarily confirmed, but sometimes it is not necessary. You have to remember the era when you wrote this story, but the endings get irritated
Author: Kate Chopin Plot Baby Desireredgele's Baby = Historical Picture of Naturalism This story was written by the main concern of the natural writer Kate Chopin, the mixed race taboo after the Civil War. The fact that Desiree's baby part is black indicates that African Americans are confronted with a social confrontation. It exposes mixed social evil across races. The story was written after the adoption of the thirteenth revision, but still represents discrimination against African Americans. Infants are victims of society, African-Americans. Feminist Perspective During this period, women's social classes were lower than men and were often used as scapegoats. From a feminist's point of view, this story shows how women are charged with mistakes on their faults. Armand condemns Desiree to have brought this black baby, but this shows that. However, in the resolution, it was revealed that Arman was actually a half African American, not a desire.
Inequality between "Desiree's Baby" and "Desiree's Baby" is a tragic short story written by Kate Chopin. This story is about the struggle between the hero Armand and his wife Desiree. After noticing that they have a 4 gallon baby or a quarter black, the relationship has been torn apart. They do not know why someone is likely to have mixed blood. Armand advises Desiree and the baby thinking that this is the curse of his last name. After Desiree and her children were rejected by Armand
