People live one day under the same guidance of their fathers They often question their existence in the universe and try to understand the world around them. People often question the existence in the universe. Philosophers try to answer questions most people may not think about in their daily lives. Most philosophers try to understand the truth of logic problems through epistemology. Epistemology is "philosophical field of study of the nature and possibilities of knowledge" (Soccio).
Two philosophers, Sir Francis Bacon and Rene Descartes, used scientific methods. Francis Bacon is an Englishman who likes Descartes to refuse Aristotle's scientific assumption and is working on "knowledge issues". Besides, both of them disdain the ideological tradition of medieval colleges who want to adapt the world to the teachings of the church. While bacon emphasizes experimentation and observation, Descartes focuses mainly on emphasis on human reasoning. Francis Bacon said that science is a way of improving people's lives by leading inventors' real skills. Both of these people help to bring scientific methods to understand other possible knowledge. They paved the way for "enlightenment in 1700," and spread the idea of possible human progress.
A new scientific method was developed in the beginning of the 17th century, and unlike the earlier method, it started not from Aristotle and Ptolemy but from observation and experiments, not from the Bible. Renhe amp; eacute; Descartes dismissed Aristotle's scientific hypothesis. He also challenged the academic tradition of a medieval university designed to integrate the material world into the teachings of the Church. Descartes emphasizes that human reasoning is the best way to understand. Descartes' most famous statement "I think so, I am like this" began with his writings "discourse theory". Thinkers like Descartes will help apply scientific methods to the pursuit of all knowledge. They also spread the possibility of human progress
The theory of knowledge project which is best linked to analogy of architecture can be traced back to the thought of ancient Greece - Aristotle and geometry. Descartes' effective homage to Aristotle is of course welcomed by his Aristotle's audience. However, Descartes believes that the principle of Aristotle's fundamentalism is incomplete, at least when applied to metaphysical investigation. The way he doubts it is designed to complement fundamentalism. As mentioned in the above citations, the two methods should work together. Let's think about each method
