Milada Frankov is a professor of British and American studies at the Department of Art at the University of Brno. She teaches British literature and English culture studies, specializing in the Middle Ages, Renaissance and contemporary literature. Her current research field is a contemporary British novel. StaniSlavKolá ÅTM is an Associate Professor of Department of English and American Studies at Ostrava College of Arts in the Czech Republic and teaches American literature and American studies. He is an IREX visiting researcher at Brandeis University in Massachusetts and a fullbright researcher at the University of California at Berkeley. In his study he studied about the American literature of the Jews, the acting of the Holocaust in literature, and the national literature of the United States. He is the author of the EvropskékoÅenyamerickà © Å 3/4 idovsk __ literature (1998, the roots of European American Jewish literature) and the seven major answers (2004) of the Holocaust in American novels.
