Democratic Policing Literature Review

Introduction The theory of democratic policing is not a single persuasive and coherent doctrine. Like democracy itself, literature on democratic security is characterized by competition claims and counterclaims against its central principles, objectives and arrangements. This literature review outlines important differences and similarities in the various characteristics of democratic policing and outlines some of the challenges that the authors believe are threatening the theory's advantage.

Each guide will be notified by the comprehensive review of the research literature and the police practice of reporting. Each was anonymously reviewed by police officers, police officers and researchers before publication. The review process is managed independently by the COPS office seeking review comments. COPS offices and authors encourage you to provide feedback on this guide and report your own experience in dealing with similar issues. A comprehensive and systematic literary review of international literature in the field of Canadian and police performance evaluation was conducted through the survey. Regardless of country, region, local government, geographical survey at all levels is subject to consideration. Particular attention will be paid to analytical studies investigating whether to measure the actual problems involved in the investigation, the meaning of the investigation, and what they should measure. Most of this article covers police satisfaction, trust, confidence.

This article first studied literature and interviewed several Indian police stations and Indian police academy in New Mexico. They also conducted a two part study and made four reservations. They chose the country of India with as many different problems as possible. They also studied their police stations and the tribal environment in which they were located and understood how reservations handle community security. The strength of this article is to explain the causes and methods of crime in tribal areas. It also shows that there are conflicts and no improvement when the Federal Government intervened to take over cultural traditional methods. The weakness of this article is that it is not a complete explanation of the actual thing but only a partial view.
