Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana or DDU-GKY is the Indian government's youth employment program. [1] [2]

On September 25, 2014, in commemoration of the 98th anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya's birth, Prime Minister Nitin Gadkari and Minister of Venkaiah Naidu were established. The vision of DDU - GKY is "to turn young people in the rural poor into economically independent, worldwide labor force." We are targeting young people between the ages of 15 and 35. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU - GKY) is a technology and resettlement program of Indian Rural Development Department (MoRD). DDU-GKY was born from the "Special Projects" component of the Aajeevika Skills program and Swarnjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY). The focus of the program is to respond to career desires of young people in rural areas and to improve their wage hiring skills. When implementing the program, MoRD notified guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOP).
