Declassified and Classified U.S. Government Information @ Pitt: Databases and Websites

Documents of the Department of Defense were officially named "Defense Commission Agency's Vietnam Task Force Report" entrusted by Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara in 1967.

The confidential report was leaked to the media by Daniel Ellsberg in 1971. In 2011 when the National Archives and Records Administration first published the full text of this report, it was eventually declassified.

This week, seven Democratic senators sent letters to the White House for information on the role of the Russian government in US elections. This is worth noting because six of the seven senators are members of the Information Committee. I am obsessed with the Russian publicity and the potential impact that it has on our political dialogue. I do not have a big influence on the election, I am having many problems. What strategies are used? What is the width? How many times did trump fellowship activities take place online during the election period? What is the overall impact? Can you measure it?

In the United States, if information is assigned to one of three levels, that information is called "classified". Confidential, confidential, or top secret. Information without labels is called "unclassified information". The decrypted term is used for information whose classification has been deleted. Downgrade refers to information that has been assigned a lower classification level, but is still classified. Many documents are automatically downgraded and decrypted in a few years afterwards. The U.S. Government uses confidential but not confidential (SBU), confidential confidential information (SSI), important program information (CPI) for official use only to refer to confidential but non-confidential information, confidential or top secret Use it. The spread is still limited. Reasons for such restrictions may include export controls, privacy controls, court orders, ongoing criminal investigations, and national security.
