As the founder of CrossRoads, Savannah Layne decided to seek support from the Lynchburg community, seeing her students need more education and training. CrossRoads will host a donation dinner at 6:30 pm on Friday, 18th December. In the center of Tresca, the community has the opportunity to change the life of the student by cooperating with the organization. Ms. Layne is also an English teacher at Heritage High School, and when she starts organizing, she shares her mind and vision for the future of CrossRoads. As students focus, CrossRoads also seems to emphasize the importance of community involvement in children's lives. Given that many of these students come from low-income families, preparation for living after high school graduation may be more important than some people understand.
