Voting rights are one of the most important human rights. It gives men and women a chance to comment on their own way of governance. However, in some countries the voting age is young - in Korea, Sudan and Indonesia are 17 years old, in Brazil, Cuba and Nicaragua are 16 years old, in Iran it is about the same as 15 years old. In England, America, Australia and many other well-known democracies the voting age has dropped to 16 years.
