Death of Language in 1984

George Orwell 's work in 1984 was about Jistopius society called Oceania. Big Brother is an invisible leader in this society. The telescope monitors every act of the foreign party. The party consists of parties and foreign parties. The inner party is the best class in society, after which diplomacy continues. The lowest level is Proles. Proles will not be monitored because internal parties believe they are ignorant and do not think they are a potential threat. People are monitored to eliminate ideological crime (any unorthodox idea).

These techniques give great power to the language. George Orwell 's novel "1984" may be the best example of power' s language. In 1984, the language was invented by the government called Newspeak, when it was used, it dominated the population's mind. Therefore, it can be said that Wittgenstein's word "language limit is the limit of the world" applies to people of "1984". Orwell's world is fictitious, but the power of language is also appearing in today's world. A good example is the 1988 "abortion law" argument. People calling for change use the expression "kill the baby" instead of "the end of pregnancy" that the other person uses.
