My name is David Wu. I am the second year of biology of UVa. I am very interested in doing independent research aiming at undergraduate, to cultivate passion for science, from beginner to advanced courses. A wealth of research experience will be of great help to strengthen my future career choice. I personally have a great interest in the molecular biology of stem cells. I recently read a 2011 paper on the role of microRNA in the differentiation of muscle stem cells. I am fascinated by your research. In particular, I discovered that microRNAs can change cell fate in such a deep way. If possible, I would like to start a long-term project in your laboratory this summer.
