After reading Hume I agree with many of the things he explained. In my opinion, Hume is the closest thing to exposing thought. Robert Hume handled much of what Decarte spoke of in his work. The difference between Decarte and Hume is that Hume "resolves" many of the "wrinkles" left by Decarte.
