David Foster Wallace’s essay Consider the Lobster

Think of a greedy lord of the audience's land, capture those who can not protect themselves, make the prisoners warmer and eat a meal with the eyes of the meat. This could be a plot of some new summer big hits. Especially in the household scene, when the chefs live the lobster in hot water pot and close the lid, you can hear a sharp shaving and gripper from the pot. In other words, as Wallace said frankly, lobster's behavior is as painful as any other reasonable person.

In the article "Thinking Lobsters", David Foster Wallace pointed out people like animals. He used lobster as an example, more specifically the Main Lobster Festival. Wallace first introduced the traditions and culture of the festival and then talked about the existence of the lobster. Later in this article, Wallace explained how to cook lobsters. Its most common way is to boil them. Lobster is alive - It is a well-known fact that most recipes do not contain this information. This caused tremendous pain and suffer experienced by inhumane attention and lobsters.
