David Carson - The Father of Grunge

Introduction David Carson is a person who has lost traditional design patterns, does not undergo proper graphic design education, and does not understand the design rules. He forced to change typography and motivated many creators to redesign their designs. Through his design career in the 1980s, David had an interesting way of creative development. He began his activities as an editorial designer for a very limited audience, and since then his career has grown further and strongly required in more traditional design disciplines.

David Carson is a graphic designer who considers his design to be "experimental, intuitive and personal" ("interview graphic designer David Carson"). Sports has many similarities. Like the previous Dada art, Carson's design (Figure 2) broke the traditional design concept and turned into a more chaotic approach. The most noteworthy thing is that Carson designed a Raygun magazine article with a purely symbolic font, the story became completely indecipherable. Reasoning behind a strange selection is boring. Well, this is a typical example of the spirit of Dadaism.

David Carson, born in 1955, is an American graphic designer and art director known for his innovative print design and experimental typography, especially in the 1990's Raygun magazine. His layout features twist and mix of "white" fonts and broken images, making them almost unreadable and becoming called father of "junk typography". Famous artists appeared in the magazine cover, television, documentary of her life, autographed, won numerous awards, and two honorary doctorates. Her paintings are one of many museum collections, one of which was sold for $ 1.2 million in 2006. However, she has sent a simple rural life for many years, including farm workers, domestic workers, wives and mothers.
