The main data can be gathered by data collection methods such as interviews and questionnaires and auxiliary data can be gathered through books, magazines, government publications, media, and company annual reports. You can save time and money by using used data, but it is dangerous to rely entirely on secondary data (Sekran and Bougie, 2010)

In this paper, we will study the significance of product development and two methods of data collection, namely primary data collection and secondary data collection method. In the main data collection, it identifies the type of primary data collection, experiment, sampling, survey method, questionnaire creation, and observation method. Secondary data identified journals, census reports, government publications, industry journals, and the World Wide Web as the most common way to collect such data. We also explain the types of market research methods, namely qualitative and quantitative survey methods.
